Solo Career 

Following his departure from The Soil, Mdolomba embarked on a solo journey, exploring diverse musical genres and styles. His debut album, “This N That Without Tempo” (2010), showcased his versatility as an artist, blending a capella and soul influences. However, it was his sophomore effort, “Isphithiphithi” (2019), that catapulted him to new heights of success. Fusing elements of Afro-pop and R&B, the album received platinum certification and solidified Mdolomba’s status as a musical trailblazer.

Mdolomba’s contribution to the South African music scene has not gone unnoticed. His collaboration with Sun-El Musician on the hit single “Akanamali” earned him widespread acclaim and multiple awards, including the prestigious South African Music Award for Best Collaboration.
