Making waves in the entertainment industry with his unique, spirit-moving music and his well-known “Touch” on remixes, the DJ & Producer showed no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Da Capo’s work has been featured on some of South Africa’s top radio stations, and he has released multiple EPs and remixes.

He has also worked with well-known musicians such as Freshly Ground, Muzart, The Soil, and Ralf GUM, as well as businesses like Soul Candi and House Afrika. In 2013, he collaborated with producer Punk Mbedzi on Surreal Sounds’ debut album, “Surreal Selections Vol. 1”. DJ Swizzy mixed the album. Da Capo went on to release his long-awaited debut solo studio album in 2014, including Soulstar, Clara Hill, Rona Ray, and Andyboi, to mention a few. It’s evident that Da Capo is here to stay and will not slow down anytime soon. 2017 will be an amazing year for the 27-year-old DJ and producer.

Da Capo wants to make his impact on the house music world. The release of his solo EPs under the DNH Records banner (the Toronto-based company owned by his inspiration Nick Holder) has already raised his profile both at home and abroad.

The name “Da Capo” means “return to the beginning” in Italian, and he fell in love with it since it accurately describes the type of music he does.

Da Capo has shared the stage with DJs such as Rocco Rodomaal, Nick Holder, and many others, and has been a regular inclusion on top ten lists on different digital shops, most notably the Dj Tipz (Handz on Heat) top ten, which is posted weekly on Traxsource.

Da Capo was nominated for the 2019 DJ Awards in Ibiza alongside fellow South African nominees Black Coffee, Da Capo, Culoe De Song, Hyenah, Themba, and Floyd Lavine, all of whom are internationally recognized DJs indicating that South Africa is a major participant in the global house music scene.
